Outreach and Education
The Outreach & Education
component of GLEAMS is designed to help make the tools and knowledge developed
from this initiative available to watershed councils, jurisdictions, corporations,
and K-12 schools in the form of traditional meetings, publications, and
additionally, an information portal. The goal of the Outreach & Education
effort is to increase awareness and understanding the watershed concept,
thereby promoting a perspective that might be adopted by stakeholders to
improve the integrity of watershed management.
